Will digital passports be important in the future?

I have read that some countries are already testing the efficiency of digital passports. This is good news since it can make traveling overseas more convenient. It helps in speeding up the process, especially now that more people are traveling abroad. What can you say?

We don't have a digital passport here but I believe it will soon become more common around the world and I think it is better than a physical passport.
