Why is it when someone puts up a youtube link do I get a white square with three geometric figures and can't click on the link?

Not behind a proxy. Security I have set at low. Not sure what plug-in I might need.

i like firefox but it's weird how animated .gif's play backwards...

I don't believe I have ever seen Firefox do that.

I did some research and found I had to uninstall adobe flash player & re-install. You have to use Adobe uninstaller to do that.
