theres a few reasons why we follow the teams we follow...heres a few

born in the city of the team you support

lived in the city of the team you support for most of your life(me)

saw them play and loved it(me again)

its the team of the city that you come from before you moved

you looked at the league table and decided to support someone at the top even though you have no chance of seeing them play:surrender

you dont know much about the game but liked the colours

which are you?

I'm a dyed in the wool, black and gold bleeding Pittsburgh fan. I guess I was born into it, but my folks are not nearly as rabid as I am...especially for hockey. My high school team took states a few times and when I saw a live NHL game for the first time I was hooked...scuse the pun.

I think Pittsburgh teams appeal to me as well because they have that sort of working man's blue collar edge to them and they always have.

Guess with me it was supporting a local(ish) side, liked the way West Ham played, didn't want to jump on the bandwagon and support Spurs or Arsenal. Most of my extended family support Spurs, my great - great uncle used to play for them and scout for them but I could never stand their fans attitude and still cant.

My parents are from Liverpool, but moved to Birmingham before I was born. So yeah, it would have been hard for me to not support Liverpool.

Born and raised in leeds, so i guess if i were to follow football i'd be a leeds fan. With rugby its leeds obviously, doesn't go over too well been at uni in bradford now . . haha. With american football NE pats were the first team i saw playing on TV and i just went with it . . lol.

I lived in Jacksonville when they made the Jaguars, and I didn't really have a team at that point (I was 10) so they became my team.

I support my team since I am a proud Kansas City Native that will always support my recently lousy Chiefs and longtime losers Royals. I just take pride in where I came from.

Me too grew up in Baltimore and have been a die hard Orioles fan my whole life. Despite the fact that they are one of the worst teams in baseball currently
