Long pauses in conversations can feel uncomfortable, yet silence can also deepen connection. How do you handle silent moments, with discomfort or calm? Have you ever found peace in shared silence?

Silence feel awkward when you are in a room filled with people, however, when you are alone, silence can come as tranquility.

I try to embrace silent moments with calm rather than rushing to fill them. Often, shared silence can feel surprisingly comfortable, allowing space for reflection or connection without words. I’ve found that being present in these pauses sometimes strengthens understanding more than constant conversation.

Silence is a great way to say many things without saying a word. Many people remain silent because they may have had suffered from trauma. They never speak to anyone. However, remaining silent can surely bring peace.
