One of the worst things social media has ever done is giving airs to political extremism. Social media has amplified political extremism and radicalized individuals. Some blame algorithms and misinformation, whereas others argue that extreme ideologies thrive on deeper societal discontent. Do you think tech companies should be held responsible for not doing enough to stop radical content, or do you think it is against free speech? Is political polarization an inevitable consequence of human nature or a symptom of failing governance?

Political extremism seems to be rising due to a combination of factors, including social media's role in amplifying divisive rhetoric, economic inequality, and a growing distrust in traditional institutions. People often feel disconnected from mainstream politics, leading them to seek more radical solutions. Increased polarization and a lack of dialogue also contribute to the escalation.
