To me, basketball has too much offense. Baseball is too slow. And watching two players fight each other with skates on in hockey isn't natural to me.

Hence, I'm a football fan. It has the right amount of offense and defense, isn't as slow as baseball, and when two guys fight each other in football, they're not on skates.

Also, I like the NFL much better than college football since the talent each NFL team has is relatively even. I cannot say the same for college football where, in general, the same big-name teams win a lot while teams representing the smaller schools often get blown-out against talent-rich, bigger schools.

You're missing out on hockey fights. They're fun, otherwise things line up. Football's shorter seasons also make it more exciting; each game has higher stakes.

But with your version of "football" you don't play the ball with the feet, how it is called football I would never know

Well I do like football best too, but I do acknowledge it is played more with the hands than the feet, it could be called running, tossing, tackling, kicking, ball but that would be a mouthfull wouldn't it?:willy_nilly:

lol ive always had a problem with this... i was raised with football being that which its name implies!
Foot + Ball ( soccer)

American football (hands and sometimes feet + not so ball-shaped ball)

TBH i like both, I follow american football as often as i can! Soccer i prefer at the international level aka some sort of cup lol -
Copa de oro
copa las americas
world cup

Well though I too like Football best I won't go so far as to say soccer is Gay......

Oh it is, just watch it. Any sport that has a score end 0-0 and people say its a great game is Ghey! :p

Seriously though, it looks more like a playground sport, all that kicking the ball back and forth and nothing happens except for kicking it back the other way, its just boring. I don't see how anyone thinks that is exciting to watch. Now playing it, that might be another story.

At least with the NFL, if the score ended 0-0, you can at least count on 10 good bone crushing hits happening.

But I am mainly stirring the pot, baiting... :p

I find everyone else's definition of football sort of boring, but I suppose it's because I'm not too sure what's going on all the time. I liked the Copa Americas, watched that this summer on Univision. :D

If your a hockey player who gets into a one-sided fight and your on the losing end, it must be so embarrassing. You get your butt kicked on national TV.
