wow! thats awesome!
Why do the british seem to think all Americans are fat? Or cowards for buying guns legally? or take your pick of any of the hundreds of stereotypes I've seen you British throw at us over the years on here.
Good or bad, stereotypes do exist for a reason, they seem to play themselves out sometimes.
omg how dare you
im soooooooooooooooo offended
how dare you imply that colombians are shit stain colored?
omg the humanity
lord have mercy
this should locked and deleted and never talked about.
omg omg omg
im sooooooooo offended
when did i once call all americans fat or you a coward for buying a gun
I mean, we all get 6 monthly free dental check ups, how many of you Americans can say that?:dunno
Wait...do you mean every 6 months??? Or six checkups, 1 every month, for 6 months??? Because w/ my insurance I get my 6 month check-up free. So if that's what you mean...*raises hand*
I've seen British folks w/ bad teeth...I've seen Americans w/ bad teeth. The running joke around these parts is that if a Waffle House waitress has 3 good teeth, 2 of them are probably in her pocket.I don't discriminate...I pick on everyone!!!
Just kidding.
Yeah, I meant a free check up once every six months. And we dont have to buy insurance first to get it free.![]()
To be fair, James does encorage the gun toting stereotype with the way he talks about guns on here so I can't see any reason why he can complain about that one, he does blow the overweight stereotype somewhat out of the water though!![]()
Nothing wrong with stereotyping. We all do it. If we didn't we wouldn't be alerted to possible dangers around us. It is when stereotyping turns into a labeling prejudice that is wrong. Why do the british seem to think all Americans are fat? Or cowards for buying guns legally? or take your pick of any of the hundreds of stereotypes I've seen you British throw at us over the years on here.

I agree Fuzz. So what is up with this accusing of whining all the time? Report or use the ignore feature, but stop trolling.it was a simple question
I dont believe anyone started to whine.
Yes, you've got the right number Ria.Snap.
Precisely.![]()
I've heard of the stereotype before, but never given it any thought. My british friends don't have bad teeth actually.I never thought that about you guys.
... among other things. It is a shame really as all of my American friends are the most wonderful people in the world --- just amazingly good people. He didn't mean you specifically, and yeah I've seen us called gun-toting overweight yanks here in the past and on other forums.
We all pay for our medical one way or another ... be it through your taxes, other people's taxes, or insurance. And just for the record, I get free xrays and cleanings for my teeth twice a year. So does the rest of my family.Yeah, I meant a free check up once every six months. And we dont have to buy insurance first to get it free.![]()
the teeth one was started just after WW11 peter......with severe rationing still in place dental hygeine was way down on the list of priorities.......nutrition was the key wordI dont really get the hump about stereotypes, I do find this one about teeth a strange one though. I mean, take the one about us drinking warm beer even though we dont. I see where it comes from seeing Americans seem to have a thing about beer being as cold as possible and stereotypes are usually based on exagerations. The teeth thing though, I really dont understand how that started!
americans seem to think the british have bad teeth?
