Things that happen rarely often feel more special, even if everyday experiences are just as enjoyable. What makes rarity increase value? Do you think we sometimes overlook good things simply because they happen often?

When something doesn’t happen often, it feels more meaningful, memorable, and emotionally intense. The brain tends to encode unusual events more strongly than routine ones.
Frequent experiences, on the other hand, become familiar and predictable, so they lose emotional weight over time even if they are objectively similar.
