Centuries-old disputes continue to influence present tensions. Is historical memory the main driver of conflict, or do contemporary inequalities matter more? Can reconciliation succeed without addressing past injustices?

I don't know but I once went to a place where a couple of hundred years ago my ancestors were killed by the local rule. I felt goosebumps. Perhaps, people never come out of the historical injustice.
