i'm grilling watermelon (grilling certain fruits is awesome yummy fun) for a watermelon and goat cheese salad on a bed of baby arugula, with balsamic vinegar reduction dressing (heating balsamic vinegar over medium/high heat will make it syrupy for dressing).

then my crazy bitchin quesadillas - triple stacked with monterey cheese, stilton blue cheese (yes blue cheese it's the perfect tango one of the toppings) fire roasted red and yellow bell peppers, then topped with thin slices of rib eye and green chili sauce poured over the top.

then it's grilled salmon with mango relish and my crazy delicious cole slaw.

good times. happy memorial day folks.

if anyone needs some grilling motivation check out the video below of andrew perry lang, BBQ master, grilling the taste into a prime rib.

Sounds like good food. I'll be right over.

We did our bar-be-queing last night. It was the only time we could all be together at the same time. Today? Not sure what the plan is. :)

Except it's time to leave for the Memorial Service.

We are grilling later this afternoon. Nothing nearly as fancy as what you described though. We will be grilling hamburgers, hotdogs and corn! I cant wait.

it sounds fancy but it's all less than $40 shopping dollars.

don't press down with a spatula on your hamburger patties. when people do that, they're squeezing all the juice out of them. also, here's a tip, get your favorite potato chips and stacked them on your burger, it sounds strange, but it adds a great crunchiness, and depending on what flavor potato chips they are, another layer of flavor. trust me, it's great.

HA! As if the hubbub would even allow me around the grill! :24:

I will tell him that. However, he has pretty much mastered the hamburger. He mixes dry onion soup mix, seasonings, and marinade into the meat. It is super yummy.

I will have to try your chip idea... sounds interesting.

Edit: Add chicken strips onto our menu as well. YUM!
