I have two I can name.

First one is Kemoshia. She's a gorgeous person, inside and out. Met her in first grade in the girls' bathroom. Either she let me go ahead of people, or I let her go...but either way, we were the best pals for a long time. We still talk from time to time...when we're not too incredibly busy. She's still back home in the Houston area, with her career in nursing keeping her going.

Second is Waylon. Again...met him in first grade. My fondest memory was when he smashed his thumb in a door and he took the bandage off to try to gross me out...and when I commented, I was sent to the corner for talking, because the teacher had JUST made everyone quiet down. lol We still talk today, and I still adore him just the same. He's out in California these days, rockin' it up the way he intended. *smiles*

How about you?

My best friend for the longest time was a girl named Amy. She lived pretty much across the street and we were friends from elementary thru high school and a little after. We stopped talking and pretty much went our seperate ways. I probably haven't talked to her in I'd say 4 maybe 5 years.

My best friend from childhood and is still a really good friend of mine is Ryan Sowers. We played baseball together since T-ball. We became really good friends growing up and our dads did also. We rode 4-wheelers together all the time and still do occasionally. He races them now across the nation. We about lost him last year in a horrible racing accident. He broke every bone in his face, and stoped breathing. They life flighted him and he was in criticle condition for over a week. But he pulled through, thank God. Anyway, we still talk often and hang out when i'm in town, or if he gets a chance to come down and visit me. I think I have a video of the crash somewhere, its hard for me to watch tho.

I had three really good friends that I still talk to quite a bit.

The first two were my next door neighbors growing up, Matt and Mark.

Matt was one year ahead of me (we're 5 months apart) and Mark was one year behind me. Mark and I always got into trouble, we were good at that.

I met my other friend Greg in the 4th grade from church. We'd chill every wednesday at LIFT, and we played in the handbell choir together. Now Greg is married and is on his way to becoming an Allen County Sherriff. Damn popos! lol

Well, I had two friends that I grew up with.

1st. JoAnne Tucker. she was my best friend from 3rd grade all the way up until in middle school, but we ended up going to different middle schools, so we eventually lost touch..

2nd. Melissa Jones. I have actually known her since elementary, but we hated each other than. We became best friends in 8th grade and it continued thru high school. I actually hooked her up w/ her boyfriend which is now her husband. We lost touch once I married joe. (not because of him, just because I left school) but we talk once in a while and catch up.

I don't have any real long term friends from back in the day... I have my "brother". We've been friends since '96. Haha when people ask we tell them we are brothers... for the longest we were inseperable. Then I went off to the military. He is just about the only guy I hang out with anymore. Not that often now that he's married with 2 kiddies. Damn.. I gotta find some new friends.... :lol

My best friend was a girl named Angela. She was smart, funny, beautiful, and taught me how to make S'mores. She really taught me everything to be quite honest. What music was kewl, different types of flowers, how to dance, and even let me use her telescope when I went over her house at times. I was fortunate that she became something more later in life. Sometimes I just wish I could hang onto all of that though. It is amazing when I think about it now. She was more then just my fiance when I had "lost" her in a sense. She was also my best friend before anything else. One can only hope she knew that deep down inside. A great friend, indeed. I shall always miss her too.

I had two. My girl friend Aisha I had been friends with since we were 1 or 2 and we were like siamese twins till her mom got married when we were 11 and she moved away. I still keep in touch with her. And then my guy friend Alex I had known since we were 3 or 4. We lived right across the street from each other and played all the time. We went to elementary, middle and high school together. He's my son's godfather now and we still hang out and talk.
