Who do you think is the worst actor or actress on TV?

For me, Chuck Norris is high on my list. He never showed any real emotion in any of his movies or on his TV show, 'Walker, Texas Ranger.'

But the worst actor of all-time in my opinion is John Wayne.

Sometimes, a movie where the acting isn't so great actually isn't due to the actors/actresses doing a lousy job. Bad acting can be caused by the bad lines that the actors/actresses get stuck with. A corny story line in a movie can make even the best actors/actresses look bad.

I can agree with that.

However, to say John Wayne is the worst actor of all time is plain IGNORANT.

Im not being ignorant by saying John Wayne was a bad actor because to say he was good or bad at acting is a matter of opinion. Just because an actor is or was popular doesn't necessarily mean he's good at acting. Again, it's a matter of opinion.

The Academy would probably argue with you regarding John Wayne, as would most everyone else.

James Arness didn't show a great deal of range of emotions on his show 'Gunsmoke.'

However, I liked that he didn't because he came across as the strong, silent, and tough man by not showing a lot of emotion.

You know what I did enjoy him in? The Day The Earth Stood Still, where he played an emotionless alien. It was perfect for him!

I missed that film, lol. I think I liked him in Street Kings, but maybe I just liked the movie, and not him? :dunno

Reeves was pretty good in Street Kings... it wasn't the just the movie, not for me anyway. He's generally perfect in roles that don't call for emotions or where he plays a stoner.

Hayden Christiansen ranks pretty high on my list, and we certainly can't forget Pauly Shore. :24: David Arquette is pretty horrible as well, but I think that Brendan Fraser has to be on the top. I do enjoy some of his movies... but in an, "oh my God this is so horrible it's almost good" kind of way.

I agree w/ Keanu Reeves. Add in Steven Seagal (sp???) and Will Ferrell.

And to say John Wayne is just sacrilege...IJS

Same with Adam Sandler, he's cringe worthy.

Him^

Nicholas Cage - I think it was because of nepotism he got into Hollywood, all of his movies apart from Face-off has been dreadful acting
Alex Baldwin
Steven Segal - urrgghhh!!! Anyone who has an on screen fight stand no chance of getting a good thump at his characters, how unrealistic that is, plus the acting is cheese ball
Madonna - (I know she is an actress) Virtually anything she has been in has been a disaster and now she into directing? Who is giving her these ideas?
