I saw both and have to say olympus is way better. WHD had a better storyline but the script was so bad and cheesy it made me cringe in places. OHF had better acting and a decent script but do the north koreans really have the ability to invade USA and take over the whitehouse? .... lame

Merging the two together would have produced a better film. Story of WHD and the script writer and actors of OHF would have been a great film.

I saw them too, but I think they were mediocre. Both are full of action, a hero that fights for his country and a bad ass president and somehow the terrorist mange to get in the White house without any big problems. If you like this kind of silly movies but packed with action I believe that you could enjoy the movie experience after all.

I like OHF better. I think it was a good movie and a little more believable to me. WHD was a little too far fetched to me. I like the humor in the movie, but OHF was still the better movie to me.

I watched both movies when I was traveling in a bus. Both made me drowse off. Both had their fine points but I think White House Down wins it when it comes to providing entertainment to viewers. Its combination of humor and action makes it a more interesting movie to watch. Olympus Has Fallen simply had a lot more boring points IMO.

I had higher hopes for Olympus, and it sure did looked and did better. I don't know if it was because it came out first or I saw it first (it seemed more original to me). But WHD wasn't that bad either, it just wasn't box-office-hit quality is all.

I watched OHF the other day, and that movie was so bad I about broke the disc.

No, North Korean doesn't have the ability to invade the US like that. In fact, there is no likely hood of them getting someone to give them one of our AC130s, that is FAR off any route to get to the white house. That and with an airbase less than 5minutes from the white house, they would have so many aircraft in the air, it wouldn't have gotten that far. Far as the ground fighting went, it was almost like we didn't have a military in that movie or they were trained by SpongeBob.

Good for an action flick but if you know anything about all of the stuff they were showing it just makes your head hurt.

Olympus Has Fallen is definitely the better movie. I really enjoyed watching it and wish it lasted longer.

I saw Olympus Has Fallen not too long ago and I enjoyed it. I haven't seen White House Down yet. Is it at Redbox? I have a small obsession with Channing Tatum so I'm going to definitely check it out.

I still think OHF is the better movie. They had a lot of good action and it kept me watching until the end. White House Down was good in its own way, but I think that the humor took away from the action a little bit.
