Centaur

The centaurs are a race part human and part horse, with a horses body, including all four legs, and a human head and torso with arms. The human portion is joined at the waist to the horses shoulders where the head and neck would be. The general character of centaurs is that of wild, lawless and inhospitable beings, the slaves of their animal passions.
 
Human
They are in every respect the same as human beings in the real world. However, their technology is closer to European medieval and Renaissance technology, and they also employ magic. They also seem to be more socially liberal — more along the lines of todays Western societies — than was actually the case in medieval and Renaissance Europe.
