I locate mine near the window so i can see what is going on outside. Also i get good natural light here so i don't need to switch on the main light until it gets dark. Where do yo use your main computer?

It's in my room and just like you I have a window to the left of me so I get a lot of natural light and can see what's going on outside. There's another computer in the living room, but I don't use that one much, I like to browse privately plus if I'm on a Skype call I don't want my parents to hear what I'm talking about.

Mine is near the window too!
I usually take a look at what's happening outdoors to see the weather and who is passing by. :p

Yeah, since I 've had a laptop, I'll never go back to a desk unit. The laptop is much better. I have in it my lap, while I sit in my recliner, its comfortable.

I keep my main computer (laptop) in my living room as I do most of my stuff in there. I used to locate it in my room near my window, but I prefer to have it downstairs now, it's closer to the kitchen that way ;)

There is no ideal place really in my room for the placement of my computer. Right now it is near a window, but it is directly facing a house so i'd rather keep the blinds closed. The lighting is usually an issue for me, however where I have it placed currently is probably the most ideal overall.

1 desktop and two laptops
The desktop is in a spare room runs xp is ancient and only used for work.
Am getting ready to pull the trigger on a phablet {phone with 6.3 inch screen}
Essentially a mini tablet with a phone that will fit in the front pants pocket.

My desktop is just up against a wall near my bay windows. I had to position it correctly so that I did not get any sunlight glare on the screen.

I have mine down in my livingroom.. the one side is all windows, so tons of natural light and a fantastic view. Very relaxing, with my coffee in the morning..

I used to have my computer near my bedroom's window and I had to keep the window closed not just with curtain but also with newspaper sheets. I can't work with all that light on my screen!

Actually my computer is still in my bedroom, but now is exactly in the opposite wall, where the light coming from the window doesn't hurt my eyes, but also where I don't have any distractions.

Being next to the window proved to be source of distraction listening to what happens out in the street.

On my desk, which is placed in front of the window, so I can see the garden. The light matters as well, but realistically there are only so many places it would all fit and be useful.

I use a laptop so i have it on a pull-out desk in my room well it's more like a pull-out drawer you'd normally have a keyboard on, except it's an entire 17" lapto. I can't really close the drawer with the laptop sitting on it even when the laptop is closed, i need to put it on my dresser or nightstand when it's not in use, a bit of an inconvenience but things could always be worse.

In the daytime in the living room on my lap while on the couch directly across from the window. I open the blinds and can look outside occasionally. At night I take it to the bedroom and sit it on the bed. I don't have a TV so it's basically what I do until I go to sleep.
