When a stranger calls

OK I just saw this movie yesterday with hurt and I have to say it's the worst "horror" movie I've seen in years. This is how THE WHOLE FRIGGEN MOVIE GOES: dumbass girl in a big ass house, sitting there being a dumbass. telephone rings (they make the ringtone the same in every horror movie...) she answers and hears breathing, hangs up. And this is how this goes for about an hour and a half. You barely get to see any action, just a 5 minute fight scene at the end. I'm not even mentioning the absence of lesbians, zombies, chainsaws, blood, gore, etc. etc. which are mandatory for a movie that I would enjoy. There is alse the sound effects and mysterious noises throughout the film that try to scare you, which proves that the moron who made the movie has no talent. Bottom line, don't see "When the stranger calls".

I agree here, I saw this when it came out, Was never so glad to have a movie end,

I haven't seen this remake but the original wasn't too bad when it first came out, mind you it was before the time of all the super gruesome Special FX movies.

I havent seen the movie but the previews made the movie look like it would be really good!

I thought from the previews it would be good, and with the way remakes are excedding the originals, I expected to see an excellant movie, or at least a half way decent remake, What I got was exactly as Jmilly said, an hour and half of phone calls, and looking around the house, and 5 minutes of action, and by then you didnt even care, not only did you know what was happening but you wanted it to just to shut the whining girl up.
