Politics is a dirty game. But it also involves very rigorous work that deals with managing a country or a community. Nowadays, we have seen a number of celebrities who have entered into the game of politics. Ronald Reagan became president of the United States, Arnold Schwarzenegger became governor, Manny Pacquiao became congressman in the Philippines, and Vitali Klitschkowill run as president for Ukraine.

Do you think that these celebrities have what it really takes to run a country? Or do you think that they are just pawns in one big crazy conspiracy?

Wow, I never even knew that Ronald Reagan was an actor before he became a politician (I'm not originally from America though)! I just looked it up to see how he qualified as a "celebrity" and I was really surprised.

Anyway, to your question: I do find it kind of off-putting when celebrities like Schwarzenegger (it's really hard to spell his name!) run for office because it turns it into a big popularity contest. Then again, politics is already one big popularity contest, so I guess it's not that different. :D Seriously though, when you throw celebrities into the mix, I think it becomes even less about the actual issues and policies than it usually is. It's a recipe for disaster.
