I think part of the problem was that from from the get go, it was not explained very well about what were the rules and who could play. It sounded like most of the forum were excluded or allowed to play but only because the others were feeling generous, not because their contributions were wanted. Then everything else is just adding to a general feeling of exclusion and annoyance. And it all seems to stem from one misunderstanding, which is leading to others.

Truth be told, I think it would be wise to draw a line underneath everything and try it again - right now it's going no where and just creating drama. Perhaps re-starting the game in a new thread. It sounds like a fun game and it looks like people are willing to play but I think it needs to be explained clearer from the get go.

May I suggest that before a new game is started, you wait until bbff has 100 posts required so there is no further misunderstanding of the rules as Abcinthia has said. I don't feel it fair on everyone who would be willing to play that we have to wait for her, when as Minderella has said, she has a demanding job and not much time. For me certainly, it spoils the fun of the game when bbff has been a member so long and not yet at 100 posts, we could be waiting a long time! It would also be fairer on bbff as well, since she could join in from the beginning since her participation is so important to you.

If there is a wish for the game to be restarted in a new thread then that can be so, but this thread has evolved into too much of a hodge-podge for it to be retrieved.
