I'm going through a dry spell. Mostly my wife and I are watching True Blood. Lost is over. V crashed and burned, Happy town was a bust. I realize there is a Prohibition drama coming on HBO soon, will catch that for evaluation.

I have wide ranging tastes, good drama, scifi, thriller, comedy. What are you guys excited by for the new season this Fall?

Other shows I've liked: Deadwood, Rome, Sopranos, Everyone Likes Raymond, Sex in the City, Star Trek Next Generation. I think there is currently Reality TV and Police Drama overload going on right now.

If I were you.... I'd watch just about anything! :willy_nilly:

I don't have cable TV..... I live in the boonies.... my antenna was a bust along with the digital converter box..... and all I can get are about eight or ten Canadian channels. That is.... until they go digital too. Then I don't know what I'll do. :(

I suppose I'll have to continue buying/renting videos.

What about Direct TV or Dish Network? Those would be perfect if you have a clear view of the sky.

Yes, I know.

I looked into DTV and they kept adding costs for things that weren't in the fine print. I finally gave up after the fourth call. The first two times I called because of fliers in the mail. The third and fourth time was because of an offer through AAA. I even made a thread about my experience here.

I may call Dish though. Just not right away. I need a break. Sales people are sure pushy! :willy_nilly:

I've heard good things about Mad Men and Breaking Bad, but it's like I have a mental block with these other networks. :(

If you are into gameshows, I just read this on buzzerblog:

Beginning September 13th, 2010, the new season of “Millionaire” is going to be a real game-changer! From the very first question, you’ll see more strategy, more unpredictability and more excitement. Plus, we’re introducing a new lifeline, and the road to a million is going to get a bit shorter.

It’s the same great “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,” with a few new twists and turns that will add even more risk, reward and fun. Additional details to follow in the coming weeks, but mark your calendars now: New Season of “Millionaire” – Premieres September 13th!!

Could be interesting, if you like gameshows. I enjoy this show and am curious to see what they do.

I caught an episode of My Name Is Earl. I liked it! Too bad it is in syndication therefore harder for me to catch.
