They are available in 7 and 10 inches, but what about larger sizes? This would be useful for watching films and graphical work.

In my humble opinion, 8 inches is the way to go for tablets. 10 inches is just a tad bit too big for my tastes. I feel that it's bulky and is kind of hard to take it out and use it in public. I think that the Galaxy Note 8.0 got the screen size just right.

Same for me, 7-8 inches is the perfect size for a tablet. Most tablets with 10 inches I've used are just bigger than what my hands are willing to hold [and so is my bag].
Of course there are bigger displays for those who prefer grabbing and manuring a bigger tablet. This is just my opinion.

For graphic work I'd highly suggest doing work on a desk top and transfering the information. I've created presentations from start to finish on my iPad, but always have found doing the work on the desktop easier due to editing some of the finer details with art work/photos. Then again, computers or graphics isn't what I'm good at, so perhaps it's just me lol

7-8 inches is just about right, bigger screen will make the tables no longer comfortable to carry around, it will increase the overall weight of the device. Imagine yourself in a situation where you're standing at a train station for example and while you wait, you're just browsing the internet on your tablet, would you like to have an 11 inch screen? I'm guessing the answer is no. You would probably prefer something under 10 inches.

The 10 is nice and easy to see that I sure wouldn't want to slide off the couch and hit the floor.
Also a lot of times we want to be able to use it with one hand so 7 or eight is just right then

It is rather a personal preference. I used to have a 7-inch tablet, which it was good until later I noticed the screen size was not quite big considering it was supposed to be similar to a computer. Now, I have a 8-inch tablet, which is the perfect size because it's bigger than the 7-inch but smaller than the 10.1-inch. I think the 10-1-inch tablet is way too big for me, which it's hard to hold and type when I play on it at one of the local electronic stores.

7 inches because anything more is a laptop. I have a tablet because I want something to amuse me when I'm not at home, like in a doctor's office or a school program. I also want a few apps to help make my life simpler like apps for cooking, email, budgeting and even some yoga. When I work however it’s on a laptop so I’d need a bigger screen and solid programs not apps. So a small tablet for entertainment and daily chores plus a larger screen laptop for work.
