I am curious to know what you think about Obamacare. I have never affiliated myself with Republicans or Democrats; I am one to vote for the candidate that best aligns with my views. But to me, over the past few elections, I honestly don't want to vote for anybody! Obamacare makes me sad, scared and anxious all at the same time. Sad because I honestly do feel like it is inherently a good idea gone wrong - the notion that everybody should have access to healthcare of some sort. It makes me scared because having read parts of the bill I know that treatment like my son received for his leukemia may not be available to everybody as it was for us and I would hate to see children (or anybody for that matter) go without treatment that could save their life. And it makes me anxious because our nation is so torn on this issue that I wonder what the ramifications of all of this fighting will mean for our country and the world that we, our children and the future generations will live in.

I would love to get your thoughts on it because in many ways I feel like the only way that we are ever going to come back together as a country is to actually have conversations about the issues rather than "standing our ground no matter what"!

Obamacare is a great idea in concept, however I feel that it was implemented incorrectly. I am by no means anti-Democratic, but I dislike the fact that those who aren't interested in participating in the program get "punished" by having to pay more taxes. For example, those people who are comfortable paying their existing medical insurance, such as the high amount of people that receive corporate health benefits.

I don't really like the idea of been forced to buy something I don't want. I also find it hilarious that congress is being exempt from it.

I'm not a fan of obamacare. I think it's a big joke. That being said, if it's good enough for us, then it should be good enough for the politicians as well.

Considering all it has been through, it's okay at this point, and will get better if politicians try to refine it instead of destroy it. I would have preferred a single payer system.

I personally have not studied up on it much but I do know enough to know that I really do not like it! Anytime the government forces you to buy something and exempts themselves they are getting a little to big for their britches and you know that if they don't want it, then it is not very good for you either!

I think Obamacare will hurt Middle Class, the fact that it's meant to put all business, regardless of small businesses or corporations, into jeopardy. The majority of United States is basically replied on and supported by Middle Class people. Obamacare is supposed to help those who can't afford to pay for their health insurance, however, it's the opposite of what it seems. I think once the implementation of Obamacare takes effect, some businesses and Middle Class people will start to feel such a change.

I agree,I honestly don't like it,I think everyone should be able to pick their own heathcare, and to be able to find the right one for them.

It's a TAX. Think I am wrong? The Supreme Court ruled that it's a tax. It you love taxes go for it.
It also doesn't make me warm and fuzzy how they couldn't (can't) get the website to work. Didn't anyone try it out ahead of time?

It upped that amount that my boss is supposed to pay in for us to have healthcare benefits
so he laid off some of the employees and cut hours so he doesn't have to provide health options
