What is the ringing?!

Any time I move the mouse a good distance across the screen, I hear a ringing in my speakers. Any ideas? :confused

Ringing like a phone, or more like a beeping?

Like, a beeping. Like, if you've ever heard the "beep" it makes on a laptop when you hover over a window at the bottom.

It's like, beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep".

Restart your PC.

Hard restart. Turn off for about 30 seconds, then back on.

Why does it do this? I'll try restarting today like that, but any time I turn on the computer it does this. Like it's doing it right now. Music drowns it out though. Could it be a blown speaker maybe? As far as I can tell, it's only in one speaker.

only when you move the mouse huh? did you check your "sound events" settings.. i dont remember exactly where they are.. somewhere in the control panel though.. make sure no weird event is turned on like "mouse movement" or some such.. also make sure your phone isnt near your speakers.. that creates a odd sound.. but not related to mouse movement.. when did it start.. did you download anything.. have you run a spyware checker recently.. virus scan?

Is it a wireless mouse? Maybe some sort of frequency interference?
