What is the most money you have ever found?

I think $5.00 was my max. But my mother years ago was very hard up for money, and was walking along the interstate picking up cans for redemption, when she found several hundred dollars in bills strewn across the ditch. She believes it was divine intervention. To this day I have wondered how that much money was out on the ground. What have you found? How much?

When I was 12 and went to Myrtle Beach on our annual family vacation; I found a 100 dollar bill in the ocean. I obviously had to give it to my parents. They dried it out. We did have a great dinner that night.

I always ended up being the one who lost money, never found any, other than low-value coins. Lost a pretty big chunk of my money once, quite a lot.

I have found $20 or more in between pages of some of my old school books! It really was a great day when I discovered the money. It is always good when you find money really.

Found about $50 once. I found it on the street and wanted to return it to the owner, cause I didn't need the money and thought the owner might need it for something really important, no one ever came looking for it and I still feel really bad about not being able to return that money until today.

One spring I found $50 while cutting back some shrubs in the front yard. It was obviously outside for quite awhile. I had to turn it into the bank because the dirt damaged half the bill but they still gave me $50. That was the most I ever found in money, on two occasions now I have found rings, I found a lovely Opal and diamond ring years ago in a restaurant I worked in. The ring was lodged behind a jukebox and when I was cleaning up I found it, no one ever claimed it. and I still have it. Just this Christmas day I found a second ring, I went to a movie and was waiting for my friends while they went to the bathroom, there were a lot of people so I decided to move to an area that was not as busy. Walked over and there right on the floor was a silver ring. I put an ad in Craigslist and have watched the lost and found, so far nothing and it has been 30 days so it is mine.

I found $6 when I was 11 years old. I was in the girls comfort room at school, and I saw $6 on the spot near the mirror. I was the only one in the comfort room that time. Until now I haven't picked up money at least equal or greater than that.

Twenty dollar bill. Random sidewalk. Must have blown out of someones wallet, was windy that day. Since then, not a cent. Not even a business card.

I found 1 500 Italian Lira once when I was an au pair in Italy. I was on holiday with my host family, and was honest enough to give it to them. It must have been there forever because it was all rolled up and weather beaten! The lady said well, it's not mine and I don't see anybody around, so it's yours

I found £50 once, all folded up together on the floor of a bar. The bar was pretty crowded so I just bent down and picked it up discreetly. I'm not ashamed to say that I kept it. I did give £10 of it to a random homeless guy I passed on the way home though.

I found fifty dollars before but that was a long time ago. I think that I was about 6 or 7. I had no idea what to do with that amount of money at the time so I just gave it to my mom.

When I worked as a clerk at a gas station on the interstate, women would forget their purses all the time in the restroom. I had to go through them, to find an I.D. or cell phone, in which to contact them. Most had several hundred dollars in cash in them. When I was making $6.00 an hour, it was really tempting to take the money, but I couldn't do it, and always returned them to the grateful people. A couple times I was offered a reward, which I also refused.

I found a envelope tucked in the bottom of my desk that had $1000 in it. I had absolutely no clue where it came from, neither did my wife.

The next day it dawned on me it was from a rifle I sold previously some time ago and I forgot about it LMAO
