To Whom It May Concern:

This video is merely for the users whom have asked me or whom have wondered about Anonymous. This video in no way, shape, or form threats the OTZ Forum as it has been deemed so in the past by other forums whom might believe that Anonymous is out to "destroy" their friendly communities online. Perhaps this video shall give you a "minor" insight to what Anonymous is in a sense. I thank you for you time and understanding in advance.

Weren't 'Anonymous' the group who posted an 11 year-old girl's details online and encouraged people to harrass her, to the extent that she was placed under police protection? Over some stupid tween comments she made?

That's the most recent thing I've heard about them, perhaps they also fight for justice in the free world and I missed the memo.

Anonymous cannot deny our "dark side" as some might refer to it as just that, however, Anonymous has brought many pedophiles to justice as well. Anonymous is divided and yet as one. We are merely a collection of thoughts, ideas, goals, and dreams. The latest thing that is affiliated with Anonymous is the "war" on Scientology and the supporting of WikiLeaks. Though we cannot disregard those who wander off and exploit the innocent. We accept both blame and recognition for things that we do. As I have stated in the past...there is no "right" or "wrong" within Anonymous. There is only the individual whom might have sympathy or hate for another. Please take the time to learn about Anonymous instead of going by rumor or stereotypical thoughts about Anonymous. If you still think that Anonymous is cruel then we welcome your opinion and respect it as well. After all, freedom of thought, action, and speech are what Anonymous is all about.

I'm sorry but it's difficult to feel positive about a group of individuals that hide behind a group identity to express their opinions, for good or bad. If you're passionate about something, where is the shame in expressing it? And if you're being cruel, then have the balls to be cruel under your own name.

I guess I just don't understand why this particular group is so awesome. I could understand if they only did good deeds under this disguise, but it seems like an umbrella for all the behaviour you wouldn't want to be personally associated with for one reason or another.

There might not be right or wrong with your group, but those concepts are still very much present in the outside world.

We are not a "group" of anything. We are merely ideas, actions, thoughts, and goals. We are passionate in what we believe, but we are not foolish either. Why would we offer our identities when that could harm another whom might know us and have nothing to do with our own actions? This has been done numerous times in order to stop the individual from continuing his or her freedom to think, act, or speak. We are not "awesome", but rather unique in the sense that we do take more action than those with real identities at times. Would you offer your children, family, and friends as a "sacrifice" to speak your mind? To think? To even act as you see fit? I doubt it. Anonymous is in plain sight as well. We are the people that walk by you in the streets. We are the people sit behind you in class. We are the people who serve you your meals. We are the people you work for at times. We could even be your loved ones. That is Anonymous. You never know who we are, yet, we walk amongst everyday of our lives as well as yours. Again, we cannot discredit our actions that have been "sinister" at times, but one must not forget the "heroism" some of us have shown. We wear masks not as shield for ourselves, but for the ones we love and care about. Even if we were to take off our masks that would still not give an individual a clear "description" on who we are as a person. Even those who may look friendly and harmless do not wear a mask when they decide to commit murder, rape, or even burglary. Though one may never know since that individual wears a mask of innocence at times. We all wear masks at one time or another. Some of us just choose to leave it on. The reasons for that within Anonymous always varies.

I know of Anonymous. As a dweller of the internet and it's sub-culture known as the furry fandom, I know what Anonymous is and nor do I hate it or love it but it does have it's uses.

Another respectable thought. We do have our uses and it is good that you are honest about whatever feelings you may have for Anonymous. Even if those feelings are empty and have no judgment amongst us. Though, for the sake of someone mentioning it once more, we are responsible for a lot of "bad" things here on the internet. We do have our "dark" secrets as well, but so do most humans. If we, as a society, have come to accept these "secrets" or "flaws" in humans then perhaps one can only hope that we, as an internet society in a sense, can accept Anonymous as well. Besides, we are merely made up of ideas, thoughts, actions, and goals that come from human minds. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Anonymous as well.

That video reminds me of an incubus in Ink.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBGeErufQdY

Skip to :35 - :55 if you're too lazy to watch the entire trailer. Yeah.. them. Especially when the guy in the video spoke. Not saying you're evil.

On a side note, this movie is the shit. I recommend everyone watches the above trailer.

Thank you for the movie suggestion. Though I do not see how it reminds one of the video I had posted.

The smiling mask.. If you heard an Incubus speak, he has that same overly sweet and calming voice as the guy in your video.

My apologies, Brieze. I had thought that I was suppose to be looking for a common meaning rather than a mask or voice. Thank you for sharing that movie trailer though.
