When I was growing up if I "borrowed" something I returned it as quickly as I was finished with it and in at least as good of condition as when I borrowed it, sometimes better. If I borrowed a vehicle I returned it with more fuel in it than when I borrowed it or filled the tank. Borrowed seems to be a different concept with young people of "thanks I need that"....Unless you ask for it to be returned you may never see it again. I just explained that to my daughter again. If she borrows anything it disappears into that black hole she calls her room to never see the light of day again.
My wife's computer had to be repaired and the best repair was to wipe clean and start over. She lost several games she likes to play. I knew I had the discs and promised I would re-load them today. I could not find the discs anywhere I thought they might be. I text my daughter and asked about them. "I borrowed them" "I can get them for you when I come home."
