Yesterday we had a case of trouble at a church we put a phone system into.
We had a Win 100D phone system in there, then they had lightning strikes a few nights ago. Everything comes back up except the phone system.
So after a few hours today we can't get the system to come back up, it just doesn't like it when we stick in the digital stations cards.
Here's our chance! We had left them out of service for most of the day (nothing we could do) so we went and got some lunch, then my coworker went and did his job, so I went back with out ESI system.
Here's the weird part.
There just HAPPENED to be a funeral at this particular church, which was being directed by a guy we know well who owns one of the two funeral homes in NH. This owner is the guy we sold an ESI system to 5 months ago after replacing his Win that got blown up by lightning too. LOL What are the chances that HE is there for a funeral on the same day that we're there diagnosing a problem?
He was giving the church faculty rave reviews of the ESI system even. This thing will basically sell itself. Case in point - When we came back this afternoon to put in this temporary ESI system, all we did was unpackage a couple of the phones and they were basically, yet completely, sold on it... and we hadn't even turned the system itself on yet.
Then when the phones got turned on, the programming was fine tuned, and I started explaining the features to them... they were very, very impressed with it. They were already planning out their permanent Voicemail recordings today.
It was awesome.
