Screen time reduction happens through daily scheduling of my activities. I schedule particular times to check both work emails and social media access. This strategy enables me to maintain the connections without excessive phone usage.
The best way to do this would be to find another activity, either go for a walk or stroll, hang out with friends, or visit new places or you could simply read a nice books.
It is very important for you to find offline activities that you can engage in that is going to be more satisfying and interesting for you that you're not going to be missing your online activities when you are not doing them.
