I took my work truck into a shop to get it fixed up.

tire rotation, oil change, and the gauges were acting up. Sticking or bouncing around regardless of speed or throttle position.

They told me they drove it around a few times but couldn't get the gauges to stick... at all.

So I go to pick it up and on the way back to the office a light turns yellow on me and I realllly don't want to run this light. So I jam the brakes down.

I hear this CLUNK and suddenly the fugger is pulling to the right... (I hit a curb in February in the snow on that same front right)

AND the gauges are still acting up. I got 10 miles from the shop and they stuck.

It's probably electrical and only happens when either the AC, Radio or both are on.

Sometimes it did it this winter when the heat was on... and the heat was just fixed fall of 05.

So... yeah, I hate this vehicle.

I think this is more of a rant than a vehicle thing... which is why I'm posting it in here.

my mercury grand marquis back in high school used to do that all the time. Then, finally, the speedometer stuck at 80 and just stayed there. I always had an excuse if I got pulled over for speeding though, haha, i would just say NO I DIDNT know how fast I was doing! loook at my speedometer, it says 80 while I'm stopped! Dont know if it would have worked but it was my plan haha.

Then they would have asked you why you haven't fixed it yet. Of course you also could show flash a little cleavage and you get a verbal warning.

is it bad that ive done that before? haha well not really. but one night i was dressed up in tight black pants and a low cut really pretty maroon shirt...this is back when i HAD a nice size 8 figure. Anyway the cop pulled me over and i was soooooo nice to him and it worked. I didn't have to act flirty, I just did the puppy dog eyes. No ticket just a warning yay!
