today was full service and M.O.T. day for the car,its a peugeot 206 SW 1.6 HDI deisel turbo....i've had it since new and its 6 years old, well i was quoted £150 plus any repairs that were needed

the service and test were done and it needed a new hand brake cable which costs £20 plus labour,he fitted for free because i'm a regular customer,so in all it cost me £170

so in 6 years this cars needed a handbrake cable,a replacement ball joint and the front brakes have been replaced twice

My former car, a Seat Ibiza 1.4 60HP. I only spent on it 60EUR because of a bad regulation of starter. 60EUR in eight years an more than 150k kilometers. That was a simple car, no electronics, no turbo.

My current car, Golf TSI 170HP. I had to change the turbo once... That would have been an expensive one, but it was on guarantee :)

I read some days ago, that Dacia cars are the most reliable cars, due to their simplicity...
