Anyone else worn button down shirts open that may be a tad small? I picked up a large shirt. I figured, I'd lose the weight eventually and be able to wear it properly so i picked up. It was under 7 dollars. I'm thinking I'm wearing it out but curious if anyones ever worn stuff that doesn't exactly fit properly?

If the buttons are straining at the buttonholes, and you can see flesh/undergarment.....don't wear it.:yuk

If anything, I wear clothes too big...trackies, sloppy joes etc

I think it looks fine.

Most of my clothes no longer fit, so I just find ways to cover up the obvious spots.

:homo:

Put on too much weight, too fast. Not convinced to buy clothes that fit as I intend to lose the weight and don't want to give myself any motivation not to. So I've worn sweaters when it wasn't chilly outside and try to wear shirts that are as long as possible. :dunno

your not gonna wear that shirt under it tho?

I would just go with a plain T shirt but thats just me

I like my shirts a little tighter and my pants a little baggier. but i dont wear button down shirts unless im wearing a tie or they are button up with the top button undone

Yes I have. :( My weight fluctuates quite a bit. I, like most girls have found clever ways to cover/hide the lumpy parts.

Not AEF, the button down is from a store called JCPenney and the T is a Nike t-shirt from TJ Maxx

I think everyone have wear at least once .... something smaller or bigger
I hate when you go and buy something and one size a little tight but the other big .. been small i go with the more smaller if is a top ..
or because maybe you lost weight a little or put some

..anyway it is not that small the shirt ...so does not look bad :)

I don't like shirts tight in the shoulders. I will wear a shirt too big if it gives me room through the shoulders. I have worn a sportscoat open that was too small.

YES! all the time! i have a problem with bust to waste ratio. If i buy a shirt to fit my boobs its too baggy on my stomach if i get on to fit ym stomach it opens at the bust. Notmally i buy it to fit my stomach and put a vest under it and leave it open at the bust. Problem solved.

I'm the same.

And I also wear a vest and just leave the top few buttons undone.

If the button down is to tight, wear a tee shirt underneath and keep the shirt out of your pants and open like a jacket.

I wear loose clothing overall.

(...then again I dress as if I'm from the 50s at times...)

(...except for my hair of course...no one touches the hair...)

I tend to have a similar problem with my work shirts, I like the to be fitting however my boobs get in the way so the button pops.... fixed by wearing a vest over top lol no one sees it and it works :24:
