We just set up our Nativity Scene

We just set up our nativity scene and wanted to share a picture of it with all of you.

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is putting baby Jesus in his bed of hay after the kids go to bed at night and then waking up to Him in the morning ... The King in the bed of hay - laying there - his birth giving us the beginning of a gift that never stops giving.

I hope you are feeling the peace of Christ this holiday season.

Very lovely, Grace. I like that it is so colorful. About what size are the figurines?

Many are over a foot in height.

I'll try to take a few more pictures and see if they will show the size better.

This one is on a table that can sit 2 to 3 people and as you can see the set-up covers the whole table.



This one is closer up. I kept the pictures big so that you could see the detail if you were interested. The figurines are really very beautiful. The set was given to me by my DH's Mom, bless her soul. I just love it.

im putting our tree up tomorrow,but it pales into insignificance compared to these.
i feel really sad ,my county will not allow the word christmas to be used now,it has to be winter festival.
so i suppose beautiful cribs like your will be outlawed next..what is this country coming to.

The word Christmas can't be used in your county? Wow. I never heard of that. Is there something in the news on it? That would be interesting to read about.

I think she's pulling your leg! You're allowed to use the word Christmas over here, you just every year hear a few stories where some school or other has gone all PC and tried to change it.

no pete in this county no council literature ,in house documants etc can use christmas,i believe stoke on trent city council have done it too,thats in the next county.

Well they have a CHRISTMAS tree and CHRISTMAS lights at my local council, never heard them called anything different!
