Was Eve correct in rejecting God?

This clip is a near perfect analogy to what Eden would have been like with mankind not having the knowledge of good and evil.
http://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=the+time+machine&mid=A09177855E7FF56AF1D1A09177855E7FF56AF1D1&FORM=LKVR38#

Eve eating from the tree of knowledge would be like her mentality going from what you see those young adults thinking, to that of the thinking of the time traveler. From pure innocence bliss to that of having a moral sense and the lose of innocent bliss.

In the myth of Eden, Eve was first to eat of the tree of knowledge. She, as God states, became as Gods, knowing good and evil. She then applied this new knowledge and wisdom and chose to reject God as mankind’s best example and master. She chose instead to draw Adam to her new reality. That of having the moral sense of God along with human nature. Analogous to Jesus later.

Eve, like some today, would have seen God as less fit to rule mankind than mankind equipped with the knowledge of good and evil. This can be shown by some of the epithets that are given to God.
“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”
Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

What would you choose?
Would you accept God, or would you reject him?
Is mankind better led by a human God or by an invisible God who would deny mankind a moral sense?
Would you step up to the highest form of humanity, or stay in a blissfully ignorant in Eden?
Is God nature + human nature better than God nature alone? Jesus thought so.

I think Lilith is a more interesting and sexy character than Eve. She dumped Adam because she wasn't interested in being his "help meet".

Yes. I like her and as you can see, she likes me. Analogically speaking.

Now if Christian and Muslim women would rise up off of their knees before their masagynistic men, what a wonderful world we could build.

I personally think Eve is hot for being such a rebel....

Yes. If none had rebelled against the status quo, we would still be living in caves.

Or under the tyranny of heaven and God if Satan had not been as bright and rebellious as he was. Mythically speaking of course.

Hey, have we driven all the theist away with our well thought out refuting of their dogma?

They seem to be dropping like flies.

...oh and one more question,...do you think that the fact that Eden is always shown as perfect summer weather....has anything to do the "Summer's Eve" feminine hygiene stuff?

I think Eve had a strong case for pleading insanity seeing she was obviously suffering from some kind of schizophrenia, thinking that a talking snake was telling her what to do.

I agree with your view and titled it the way I did to show "She then applied this new knowledge and wisdom and chose to reject God as mankind’s best example and master."

This shows the posibility of God wanting to have mankind as free agents instead of forever having to cow-tow to some other alien God. Empowering us instead of slaving us to him.

I jus picked this up and found it interesting if you have the time to listen to this rather bright person.
Much food for thought.

I do not think so. They just may not have wanted to put goose bumps on Eve. Puritan minds you know.

Adam is usually shown with nipples though. WTH.

And if he was never in a womb, where did the belly button come from?

If so, then what does that say of Christians with their invisible all powerful sky daddy who just can't muster the power to send Satan to hell.
