Voting

Not about political parties here, I was just wondering how you all view voting and do you vote? My personal opinion is its something to be grateful of, living in a democracy and I consider it my duty to vote. I might not agree fully with what any candidate says but I vote what I think is the lesser of the evils at least for myself, my family, my country and the world in general. I also respect others right not to vote for whatever reason. I think though unless you didn't vote for extremely apathetic reasons, dont bitch about your government.

I don't vote in every single election...but I do vote in Presidential elections and local elections that I, well, care about.

I've only had the chance to vote once, but I turned down the opportunity. I am not a supporter of any political party.

I agree with the idea that there should be an Abstain option added to voting polls, because I don't consider myself to, or rather I don't want to, suffer from "voter apathy."

I'll clarify. I assumed we were talking about the Presidential race. I'll lay it out real fast:

1. I live in Hawaii.
2. Hawaii has an insignificant amount of electoral college votes (4).
3. Since becoming a state in 1959, those votes have always gone Democrat.
4. Because of the time difference, I can wake up on election day, turn on the TV and know who is going to win, before even putting my underwear on.

My vote does not count.
