I'm kind of a nub when it comes to video and picture editing and I have an .AVI of an ultrasound that I want to edit so the patients name and info is either cropped or covered. Any suggestions?

You should be able to crop it on Windows Movie Maker, which is default with windows. By default, I believe it is located in accessories.

I can't find in there where I can crop the actual AVI. What I want to do is remove all of the vid except the rectangular portion within it of the actual ultrasound, not all the patient info and machine setting info.

well technically I can't because it holds private patient information. But if you can trim an .AVI in windows movie maker, let me know the steps and I'll test it.
