Guys 'n' Gals,

A month or so ago I tried to plug my USB pen into my PC (XP SP2) to download some photos. The Usb pen said it was being charged but the PC seems to have no inkling that it's connected. I can't force it to pick it up when it can't see anything there at all. I've not been able to connect it to the PC since.

Can anyone suggest what might (not) be happening?

Thanks,all

This happens a lot. Just google & you will find a lot of ideas to fix this. My daughter had a simislar problem with a Sandisk & it was as easy as putting the Sandisk in the right mode. Google should help, just be careful & don't do anything that sounds really stupid. Stick to the Tech websites. Good luck.

Assuming you've used the flash drive on your computer before, reinstall the software if it came with any. Make sure you completely delete the program from your computer first.

If all of that doesn't work, just go to C:/Windows/System/System32, and delete the System32 folder. That should solve all your problems.
