Here's a bit:

"WASHINGTON – Despite freezing funding for most aspects of the US government at 2010 levels, the US House agreed Wednesday evening to increase military aid to Israel substantially.

Most significantly, the House added $205 million in first-time funding for the Iron Dome project, a short-range rocket defense system. The money was pledged by President Barack Obama last May, but had been stalled until now."

They have their own nukes. Too bad our leaders don't decide that our own country needs the money more. With everything going on w/our economy and such do we really have any extra money to give to nations that are quite capable of defending themselves?

Good to know that once again We The People not first in priority for anything our government does.

Hmmm lets see, $205 million to help one of our allies protect itself now, or possibly hundreds of billions to come to their aid if they go to war.

Since they are an ally, more specific they are a member of NATO, we are obligated to get involved if they are attacked. We are bound by treaty just as all NATO nations are.
Nukes can be a deterrent, but they can't be used as this weapon system can be.

Israel isn't a member of NATO.

Right. Not NATO. Besides, we don't have the money. We have to borrow it or create it, lowering the value of the dollar even more. We're broke. Let Israel's other allies pick up the tab.

Yeah, NATO..
I think what's more likely is that the USA needs it's footholds in the middle east.

Nor are they a signer of the Non-Proliferation treaty thingy.

But more to my disgust, is that is seems we have billions for other nations, billions for wall street fat cats, billions for 'wars' & 'security'.. All our "Tax Dollars", all being shipped elsewhere while rapidly losing value. While those that pay those 'bills' (Us) make do with less and less across the spectrum.

Giving any other nation billions for defense while our borders remain wide open says so much to me. We're getting groped in airports to keep us 'safe' while those same borders are wide open. I guess they haven't figured out a real way to profit from closing the borders?

Our well-paying jobs sent overseas.

Congress quibbling about giving us continued tax breaks and extending unemployment. :willy_nilly:

For once it would be nice to see them bend over for WeThePeople. Not any multi-national corporation or foreign nation. Us. But, if vote manipulation is indeed in the bag, they certainly don't have to give a shit what we think. It's increasingly obvious to me that we are not their first, second or third priority in anything.

Pay no attention to those in power who are profiting from everything we see around us.

Pay no attention at all ;) There are terrorists around every corner. Pay attention to them! :usa:

blah.... I believe my kitchen is calling me... Maybe a toilet or two.. Vacuum...... DustBunnies.......

From everything you said here, you would love what Senator Bernie Sanders was saying on the floor yesterday. He talked for 8 hours straight and I was fortunate enough to listen to about 5 of them. He had so many facts and figures and laid out exactly why the middle class has been destroyed.

Yeah Israel totally needs help running the harshest occupation in recent history. I mean, who else is going torture, terrorise, oppress and constantly violate the rights of the tiny amount of Palestinians still alive?

Well done Obama, well fucking done. Fucking prick. Change? Change my arse.
