I have Windows XP...four year old Dell laptop. I can rip CDs but I can't find an option to rip DVDs when I open WMP.

:badlink:

I'm always skeptical about downloading stuff. :ninja

I am skeptical too

Lets try this to see if I can figure out what your laptop can do

Go to>>Start>>> right click on My Computer>> >Click on Properties>>>Click on Hardware>>>Click on Device Manager

Tell me what you see under DVD/CDRom drives

You need some dvd ripping software, and depending on what file type you rip the dvd to, you may have to convert the file afterwards to work on Youtube - those are .mpg .avi & .wmv

Also be aware that the max file length for an upload is 1024mb or 10 minutes. :)
