I have some big news,I'm going to be moving,I'm excited and nervous at the same time, nervous because I have been living here for so long and I'm so used to my area now,and excited because I will have a fresh new start,a new begining,I have been living in this small town for too long.

Our small town might have 120 people. Our closest one in Pa. might have 40. Remember the closest traffic light is 20 miles away. In Pa. they have 2 traffic lights in the whole county. They are both in the county seat. Most roads are dirt and we have yield instead of stop signs. No local cops, just the sheriff deputies who stay out of our hollows unless they have to be there.

I wish I could move. My kid is the only thing keeping me here, and I know his mom will not let me take him somewhere else.

is it going to be a big cultural difference? I remember moving from Deep Dirty South in Georgia to the Cold White North in North Country New York. That was like moving to another country.

Butterfly, if where you are moving to doesn't work out, it's still not a failure.

Why?

Because to try and fail isn't failure because you tried it. You'd only be failing if you didn't move.

Good luck!
