I have no ties to U-Dub, but a family friend of ours was on the team that designed this year's car and I thought it was pretty damn cool. He was the driver interface design team lead for it, so I've been following along with their updates and the unveiling of the final design. He's an absolutely brilliant kid, not only was he a team lead on this project as a freshman, but he has an internship with SpaceX this summer with their Dragon spacecraft team.
