:nanajig: YAAYYY!! That'll show those greedy bastages that run, erm, ran Hostess Bakeries. The union went on strike and refused to go back to work until Hostess met their demands ... and the cowards declared bankruptcy. VICTORY FOR THE UNION!!
Let these other mega-corporations beware. The unions are in control here. They'd better step in line or face union wrath .... which union members will have plenty of time to do now ... since they don't have jobs.
Perhaps Obama can come in and save em !!...if willing to save car companies...why not intervene with hostess and the unions crushing them.
Wait...fuck that...as the UAW now own the majority of Chrysler and part of GM...WTF.....So Obama would be giving hostess to their Union.
Funny thing is once the UAW had ownership and interest...they lowered wages and benefits to the same level as other factory jobs....Fucking hypocrites.
Since we{union} own it we cant afford to pay union wages :24:
We have a branch off hostess in the state
They have been struggling for years.
The building is rather old.
The machines are old.
The trucks are old.
Nothing gets fixed or replaced.
Produce as long as you can with what you have is the policy.
The end was eminent...You can only lose money for so long.
I have been to the place in our state several times on business...They liked their jobs even with the problems they had.
To have went on strike would have been to shit on the boss...which everyone liked.
I suspect they are pissed at the areas that went on strike...and rightly so.
No one is holding a gun to ones head to work at a place..if they dont like it then go work elsewhere.
