OCD involves intrusive thoughts and repetitive behaviors that disrupt daily life. Treatment often combines CBT and medication. How do you manage OCD, and what strategies help reduce compulsive behaviors?

I'm pretty sure there are support groups that have people who are going through the same predicament. So it is best a person suffering from OCD join support groups where they connect and receive help and encouragement from others who have experience.

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder means you have recurring, unwanted obsessions and repetitive behaviors or compulsions performed to reduce anxiety caused by these thoughts. Understanding OCD means recognizing that these behaviors are driven by anxiety, not personal choice, and that treatment can help manage symptoms effectively.

I manage OCD with CBT, mindfulness, and structured routines, using exposure techniques to reduce compulsive behaviors effectively.

I don’t have OCD and haven’t been close with anyone who has it, so I don’t have personal experience managing it or strategies to reduce compulsive behaviors.
But I would like know more

I don't have OCD and I don't have anyone in the family who has OCD, therefore, I do not have any experience with handling OCD, however, based on reading of this mental health condition, a combination of behavioral therapy and medication helps
