Ugh I hate taking medication

I've got like 3 months worth of pills right now and the dosage per day differs everytime I get my blood checked so despensers probably won't work for the long term. i thought about getting pill bags too
Jesus Christ Dana dont take this wrong but guess what? This is life........ old people do it everyday and seem to manage just fine or find a way to make it work for them. You complain and get a suggestion to help and then complain that wont work either get a calendar with times and columns and write it down every day, when and what and cross it off then! Or have your mother do it for you she doesnt live far away from you and Im sure you see her multiple times in a day. If you didnt make everything so difficult all the time I think things would go alot smoother for you, its not that hard really there are much bigger things to worry about or do you just want us all to know that youre a medicine cabinet right now because youre not healthy? I really dont get you sometimes. I know this sounds bitchy but really dude........

no not really concern... take what i say with a grain of salt lol

Ok :)

I am not familiar with pill bags. However, from what i know with my patients who mostly take pills on long term like maybe yours as daily @ different times- then they take a variety of those organizers/dispensers. I cant tell u what to get as i dont know the specific schedule to ur meds.

However, if you're talking about Coumadin/Warfarin- of course the dosage varies depends on results of your PT/INR levels ( clotting factors ) If u try checking out yourself the organizers/dispensers at pharmacy then maybe u can see what am talking about. See if it will work or not :)

She makes a point! I'm not saying you're old :p Just that with them, they are much more forgetful and they do well with the schedule of their meds. I've had patients have maybe like about 20+ pills to deal with at different times per they and they manage with organizers :)

You took a simple comment i made and u went overboard... sheesh simmer down.

it was more than a simple comment it was a thread that looked like you wanted help with a situation, and all you did was whine how it wouldnt work for you maybe next time you need to add you arent looking for suggestions rather just complaining about something as usual

Oh for fuck sakes. Now I have you calling me an old person. How the hell am I supposed to keep an open mind and try to think young when I have all this negativity around me. I'm so upset now I think I'll squish a grape.

I have an alarm on my watch that goes off at ten every night. I don't take my pills at ten, and I rarely acknowledge the alarm other than to turn it off. I've had it go off every night for the past the three years or so, so it's really just part of my life at this point. But somehow it triggers something and I never miss a dose unless I'm afraid I'll throw it up. I leave the containers on my nightstand next to my lamp and and bring a cup of water to bed. It's just routine.
