no way.... shamrock doesn't stand a chance. He is way out of his prime and his league. The old days of UFC are over. The guys now are much more versatile at the sport.

Past his prime? Randy Coutoure held two titles in the UFC at the age of 40 or 41. Shamrock is around that age as well, so I really wouldn't go so far as to say he is past his prime. Even at that age he is in way better shape than some people half his age. Shamrock is a Hall of Famer for a reason.

He is past his prime, not necessarly regarding age. Fighting in the UFC has evolved emencly over the past years. Shamrock has been left in the dust.

All I'm saying is don't underestimate Shamrock. Yeah, the UFC has evolved... into a spectator sport. But just because there are younger people coming in with new techniques doesn't mean he can't or won't be prepared for the fight.
Chances are Ortiz will win, but he will know Shamrock was there. And I am sure he will walk away with the blood and bruises to prove it.
Dammit... anybody with TiVo or a DVD recorder that can record the match and post it on here?

Well, it's starting. Matt Hamill vs Seth Petruzelli. I hope Matt wins. He was my favorite on Ultimate Fighter. I wonder if they have an interpreter for him.
