Terrapins, actually. ;) That could have been taken in any body of water in the SE of Britain now, the're everywhere here. Kids bought into the teenage mutant ninja turtle fad in the 90s then let them go when they realised they get big and can bite, loads of the fuckers in the wild here now! No natural predators and they eat anything!

I thought terrapins was a name for a cetegory of animals like "birds" "amphibians" "terrapins"

but I looked it up and here you go
