I have never been interested in twitter but for some reason I want to join it. I don't have a bloody clue why I want to join it I just do. I never understood how people can talk in only 140 characters but I am tempted to join. Can someone tell me what the heck it is about and if it is good or not? Just so I can stop staring at this damn tab on my browser. It's taunting me...the little bastard...

Speaking of blogging, my sister does that a lot. Tumbler has become one of her favorite sites to go onto. Blogging is like having a virtual diary that people can read in my opinion. But yeah. I get what you mean about your "micro blogging" reference. But people tweet about the most mundane things I've heard. My brother used twitter but stopped after a little while.

I used to have twitter, and technically I still do. But I haven't used it in years. To me, if you don't really have friends to use it with, it kind of lacks appeal. But hey. You could always just give it a try and see what you think. :D

I have an account, I rarely go on despite following quite a lot of people. I never got into it in the same way I got into the likes of facebook (which I have not quit). Not many of my friends are on twitter and I dont like how just anyone can follow you (this is strange, I know, from someone who writes on a forum where she has never met anyone but it's different IMO!). I've read some funny shit on twitter at times when I have nosied in.

I have one, I just never use it. It was fun to follow the few famous people I was interested in hearing about, like Kevin Smith, Stephen Fry and Simon Pegg, but it gets a bit boring after a while.

My Twitter page is in my sig. Once you get the hang of it it's fun.

I don't have one but had a quick gander at yours and like this one:

"I just rang Alcohol Concern. Told them I was worried I didn't have enough beer in the fridge. They're quite rude, aren't they?"

There's an app you can get on facebook which links your facebook and twitter so that your status on twitter will automatically appear as your facebook status. I find twitter pretty handy for breaking news by using the trending topics. Don't forget, the news of bin Laden's compound getting raided broke on twitter.
