So i have a kitten, his name is tucker..
Tuckerooo as i call him lOl,
but he drives me absolutly NUTS !!!!
i love him to death dont get me wrong but he has an obsession with hair ties.
Not just any obsesssion..just pretty much hair ties and anything he can fit in his little mouth..Due to the fact that he has this obsession, i have NO hair ties.
He goes in the washroom, climbs up on the toliet and we have a stand above our toliet, and i keep my hair ties in a little basket up on the higer shelves..SOME HOW he manages to climb uptop and stick his little mouth in there and grab them and than run away with it in his mouth.. he will do this with eyeliner, mascara, lip chap/gloss...pretty much anything he can fit in his mouth.
But when he takes them its literally in his mouth and he will run around the house with whatever it is at the time just hanging out of his mouth..
im really curious as to why he does this ?? i just dont get it..and its not like hes chewing them because he will only chew the hairtie until i snaps and is no longer circular..
i get him in trouble ( i dont beat him or anything, just kinda scare him ) everytime he does this because i NOW am once again going out in a bit to buy more hairties

Natural instinct to run around with stuff in its mouth when it cant get any prey, at least its better than killing birds or something. My greyhound (and most greyhounds) love soft toys, guess its from chasing them for work.

Just be glad your cat doesn't have an obsession of peeing on your bed. Our cat did... yeah... it was terrible. We made him an outside cat, but now he's disappeared because someone else in our neighborhood has apparently adopted him.

I hope they don't let him in there room.

I had that issue with two of my cats... so now I use a drawer to hide them when they aren't in my hair.

The one cat likes to drown everything. I know if I can't find it to look in his water bowl. Now he's teaching my puppy how to play with her toys in the water bowl....its cute to watch a fat cat and a puppy playing water....odd really.

haha, my kitten would do that to. Usually I would find it cute, until I really needed one and couldn't find it lol. now my fat cat chews on my plants in the house... no matter how high up they are... she will find a way to get to it lol
