I didn't see the John Wayne version so I didn't know the story.
Nothing special here (Bridges looked almost the same as he did in Crazy Heart but he mumbled more). What really got my attention was Matt Damon looking like a hunk with a few years on him and that mustache. Damn, he can put his boots under my bed anyday.
