The people who have issues with this show usually are the ones who read the series and expect something closely approximating Charlene Harris's incredibly good narrative. What I miss most is that in the books you know what Sookie is thinking and often it is very humorous. There is zero humor in the show.

That's because they couldn't have picked a worse actress to play Sookie. She is the worst at playing "innocent", yet strong. I cringe when I see her dumb facial expressions at times.

I don't mind Anna Paquin, my wife can't stand her. It aggravates me that they've switched many relationships around such as Werewolves working for Vampires, and a fairly high emphasis on gay themes, HAH!

LOL as much as I love him... his appearance doesn't match how I picture grey at all!

I am of mixed opinions, concerning True Blood. Actually, I like all characters, ecxept Sookie and Bill. They are somehow getting on my nerves.

I prefer characters like Eric (so cool), or Alcide (*___*). And characters like Russell Edgington make me laugh out loud. (Bwahaha, when he went into the news show. Don't wanna spoil, so I am not going to say more. But who has seen it, knows what I mean. *muahaha*)

The only I thing I don't like that much is that sex plays such an extraordinary role. >_>

I'm reading the books now and the show kind of messed the books up for me. I think I do like the books better, I've just had to tell myself that they are completely different stories.

Definitely not going to stop watching the show though. I just need to wait until it gets online.
