I did this poll on another forum and the Vampire Diaries won, just wondered if the opinion was similar here. personally I prefer True blood!

I've read all the True Blood books and seen all three series, I freakin love them it's rare that I read the books and don't the adaption as well, so I was impressed.

Eric is just the most yummy thing I've ever laid eyes on. Ever.

I didn't get the Eric love till season 2, he was a grower for me but I love him now

Vampire Diaries is more like the WB version of True Blood

the BAD WB version for teens.

I actually love both of them, but I love True Blood better. They both good series.

Definitely True Blood. I watched about 4 episodes of vampire diaries and it's so god damn boring, like a sucky soap opera with sucky twilight style vampires.

I agree 100% the Charlaine Harris books upon which True Blood is based are much better than the series. Alan Ball has really taken the story down several notches. But I've never seen Vampire diaries so I can't compare.
