Do they work?

Does anyone use them regularly?

Are they comfortable?

Are they durable?

I'm thinking of buying some. I figure, I walk for miles at work anyway. Why not benefit from it. At this stage i can be swayed either way. I need to buy new work shoes tomorrow though. shape-ups or not.
I work long hours so Most important factor is comfort.

Do you mean the ones w/the rounded bottoms? I've heard both pro & con for them...

There are some women who swear by them at work and they're on their feet for 6-8 hour shifts.

I've also heard where they're a bit awkward to get used to.

They are horribly ugly, but they DO seem to work okay. They're very comfortable but it DOES take a few times wearing them to get used to them.

do you own a pair natasha?

I do. I just bought the K-mart knock-offs and they were actually VERY comfortable. And, bonus, they were like $20 vs. the $100 you'd pay for the Skechers brand. ;) I will say, though, that my calves have always been very muscular, so I can't tell much of a difference there...but I could tell there was some toning up in my ass and my upper legs.

Good to hear something positive about them, I don't own a pair, but I've heard only negative things about them.

I have a pair I bought for walking. I was warned about them, but, the first time out, I walked over 2 miles with no ill effects. I noticed that my knees didn't bother during or after the walk. I kept a brisk pace the whole time. I think they're great!

I think I want skechers. My current work shoes are skechers and they are the comfiest things I have ever worn. Though they really took a pounding and have sadly as of yesterday gone into retirement. They served me a good 8months. Which for shoes at my work is a ripe old age!

For me, a bad shoe hurts my knees, lower back, and, hips. I felt nothing. I could feel my calves getting worked out, but, no pain. For me, they're a godsend.
